This week the Catcote Cooks Extra Crew make a 'delicious fruit smoothie' and are joined by a special guest - the one and only Sheldon Snail! The star of our current sensory story helps us to make 'Sheldon's Snail Slime!'
Chloe is on top form this week as she peels, blends and pours like a pro! Check out Conor's reaction to the smoothie at the end! He didn't enjoy it but manages to battle through like the professional he is!
Hello, welcome to Catcote Cooks EXTRA, Episode 1!
"But what is Catcote Cooks EXTRA?" I hear you say! This term, we have
a slightly new approach. An all new Catcote Cooks crew will
be delivering your usual Catcote Cooks programme, and Catcote Cooks EXTRA will
be an additional programme to it's schedule.
The
plucky students of CF1 wanted in on the action so we invited Catcote Cooks presenter
Conor, cameraman Adrian and all round chatterbox Dylan to help us out. As a
result, Catcote Cooks EXTRA was born!
In this first session we made delicious Cheese
Scones! As it was our first time, some students were a little camera shy (and
teacher Pete is SERIOUSLY questioning making it the Friday afternoon slot, when
the students are shattered!) However, we hope that over the coming weeks, our super
students will grow into their roles a little more. That's what learning's all about, innit? Enjoy!
Summer is here and the gang conjure up some simple, tasty treats!
First up, Chloe, Adrian, Anth and James make a delicious fruit smoothie - yum!
Secondly, Adam, Conor, Robert and Helen try their hand at a banana split (after an unfortunate incident with a smoothie maker and some overly hot water - oh dear!)
The gang are back with the humble, yet tasty Jacket Potato. Group 1, featuring James, Adrian, Chloe and Anthony make cheesy baked bean jacket spud, look for some amazing switch work from Chloe, she's on top form!
Meanwhile, Group 2 made tuna mayo potatoes, both in the microwave AND the conventional oven, the big show offs! Top spuddery from the Adam, Robert, Conor and Helen!
